McIntosh and Charles deliver Volume 2 in the Killer Vocals series. In all the collection includes 1287 specially recorded vocals performed by 9 top UK session singers, both male and female. CD1 is crammed full of vocal lines including:

Vocal Hooks - Ad-Libs - Vocal Fills - Screamers - Percussive Vocal Lines - Dance & DJ Vocals - Ragga Vocals - Slow Soulful Vocals - And much more.

CD2 is dedicated to 'Aaahs'. There are single notes performed by different singers at each pitch that have been looped for easy sampling. These are then also combined into various 'choirs' performing a wide range of chords that are easy to sample and drop into tracks. There also a selection of hooks and phrases on CD2 that are also LICENCE FREE. Some of these will be on the forthcoming 'Promotion' CD and others were simply included because there was no space for them elsewhere. Either way these hooks are licence free. In all there are another 689 samples on CD2, all licence free.

All samples on CD1 are subject to licence prior to use on any commercial projects. A CD like this has so much potential we decided we had to do this to protect the singers featured and singers in general but made sure we gave purchasers a really high quality, huge resource that more than compensates for this. Non-commercial use is no problem. All licensing will be carried out by AMG - we can make preset terms for users who need instant approval (like jingle producers) too. Anyone making a hit record that features one of our vocals as a hook should not expect to have got it for £60/$99 - that's not unreasonable. This fact is clearly stated on the reverse of the CD to avoid any confusion.

Steve & Joe are veterans of the UK soul scene. The Cool Notes achieved chart successes during the eighties. They signed for PWL but the plan to 'sell soul back to the Americans' never came to fruition. They have however taken time out to produce and remix for the new breed of UK dance acts and are in the process of relaunching their careers again as The Cool Notes.
